Romanian food that uses maize flour:

the first four photos show Ileana making balmoş, an ambrosial, savoury dish

consisting of maize flour and milk; the last, contributed by Ioana Corduneanu,

shows a sweet tart made from rye flour, dried cherries, Turkish delight and

spices, poale‘n brâu (a sweet bun that includes eggs) and corn bread (malaieş).
